connection.xml

Defines properties of the connection to the database.

Parameters

  • name: Unique string functioning as the lookup key. The GUI is always using “GUI” keyword.
  • description: Optional string settable by the user.
  • driver: String referencing a single record in driver.xml. Have to match the database vendor.
  • host: String with the IP or server name.
  • port: Integer with the port number of the database.
  • database: String with the database name.
  • url: Optional string, which replaces {host, port, database} properties. Useful for configuring details of the connection. Uses the JDBC URL format.
  • username: String with the database login user name.
  • password: String with the database login password.
